A New Tradition in the Making
Cumberland County Tourism along with Sulphur Creek are joining forces to bring a fun, safe, family-friendly poker run to Dale Hollow Lake.
How it Works
Set your course for adventure and let the cards fall where they may at Dale Hollow Lake’s most exciting on-the-water event! This thrilling Poker Run invites boaters of all kinds to explore the beauty of the lake while testing their luck and strategy. Your mission: collect five playing cards from participating marinas scattered across the water. With 11 marinas in the game, the more stops you make, the better your chances of building a winning hand.
Cruise at your own pace, soak in the scenery, and enjoy the journey as much as the destination. Start your run on Friday or Saturday morning from any participating marina. Just be sure to register and pick up your event packet at Sulphur Creek Resort before you begin.
Whether you’re in it for the competition or the experience, the stakes are high and the rewards are worth it. The best poker hand takes home $5,000, second place wins $3000, and third place earns $1000. Gather your crew, chart your course, and get ready to play your hand on the water!

Registration before the day of the event is a fee of $100 payable by scanning the QR code with your mobile phone or visiting our Venmo page at https://account.venmo.com/u/sulphurcreek .

Registration on the day of the event will be $125 per boat.
